Artist Michael K. Stull
"In my entire career, I've never been happier than when I am busy. It gets my creative juices flowing and tends to bring out the best in me." ~ Michael K. Stull

Artist Michael K. Stull is a local, realistic artist whose passion for drawing was inspired over forty years ago by a compliment from his second grade teacher about the realistic style of his squirrel drawing. Mike aquired formal art eduation at both St Louis Community College and Washington University and has enjoyed a career as a graphic designer, but it is God-given talent, an artist's eye and practice that enables him to produce realistic compositions of a variety of  subjects, including: animals, people, landscapes and even fantasy characters.

Knowledge of anatomy, form, shadow and perspective coupled with his attention to detail and eye for beauty serves mike's creative talents well as it draws comments from his admirers that his drawings are "so life-like" or "better than the actual photograph". Also, one of Mike's goals is to make work with the use of color; by how the image is cropped and by maintaining the artistic character of the pencil stroke.      Mike would welcome the opportunity to create a unique illustration for you, whether it's a beloved family member, favorite animal, your home... the possibilities are endless!        Michael Stull has worked as a graphic designer for over twenty years and has his Associates Degree in Fine Arts from St Louis Community College Florissant Valley. He works primarily in graphite, carbon, conte pencils and pastels.
