Artist Barbara Backowski
    "I live in Florissant where I raised my family, three grown children who have enriched my life with four grandchildren and one great grandson. My professional life was spent teaching, and after acquiring a Masters degree in Educational Administration, as a school principal. Throughout my life, I have always used photography as my art form. Through extensive travel in the United States, Mexico, Canada, the islands, China and Europe, great photo ops have been abundant. Thus my home is my photo gallery. Then, a few years ago I took a drawing class, a watercolor class at Flo Valley and one at Clayton Civic Center and then a Chinese Painting class. Having never tried to paint or draw, I have found this to be anew and exciting venture.."  ~ Barbara Backowski
