Artist Christine Fischer
"I attended Brescia University, married and after raising a family received an Associate Degree in Advertising and Design from Meramec College in St. Louis, Missouri. I chose not to enter that field but instead started painting. I began painting as far back as the fourth grade. I sold my first oil painting at the age of 13. I am self taught and in looking at my paintings you will see numerous different styles. I work mainly in acrylic, oil and watercolor but enjoy all medias. I paint portraits, montages, golf courses, reproductions of old masters’ paintings and love doing abstracts. Painting locates a certain world in my mind and at that moment and time the excitement, and enjoyment starts to take place on canvas or paper. Whatever I’m trying to express is a part of me that is special, moving and real. If a viewer can capture a part of this in my work than my goal has been accomplished." ~ Christine Fischer
Artist Christine Fischer resides in O’Fallon, MO and has exhibited paintings at Framations Art Gallery(St. Charles, MO), The Regions Art Space Gallery (Clayton, MO), The Eagen Gallery (Florissant, MO) and at the Lake Saint Louis Community Civic Center (Lake Saint Louis, MO). Her paintings are in private residences throughout the United States.
